Payment, cancellation and refund rules for the services of this business.

This policy describes how curtainvoxa handles payments, cancellations and refunds for the services it provides in and around Exeter. It applies to every order agreed with us by telephone, email or in person.
How prices and orders are agreed
Before any work starts we agree the scope of the service and its price, either in a written quotation or in an exchange of emails. A quotation is based on the information you give us and stays valid for the period stated in it. The order becomes binding once you accept the quotation and we confirm the date in writing.
Payment terms
Unless agreed otherwise, payment is due 14 days after we send the invoice by email, using one of the methods named on it. Advance payments or instalments, where agreed, are set out in the quotation with their amounts and dates. Open invoices are followed up with a written reminder, and interest may be charged where the law allows it.
Refunds and part-completed work
Refunds are made to the original payment method within 14 days of being agreed; if that method can no longer be used, we transfer the amount to a bank account you confirm to us in writing at [email protected], without any fee. A service carried out as agreed is not refunded, and for work only partly done we refund the part not provided, less material or third-party costs agreed with you in advance.
If we cannot keep an appointment
If we have to cancel or postpone an appointment, for example because of illness, a delay on an earlier job or circumstances outside our control, we tell you as soon as we can and offer a new date at the earliest opportunity. Where no alternative date suits you, any amount already paid for that service is refunded in full.
Cancelling or moving an appointment
Booked appointments can be moved or cancelled without cost up to two working days in advance, by telephone on 01392 204 817 or by email to [email protected]. Later cancellations, or a missed appointment, may be charged for the work already carried out and for expenses that cannot be recovered; a new date is always our first suggestion.
Complaints and remedies
Complaints about the quality of a service should reach us at [email protected] within 14 days of the work being completed, and can also be raised beforehand by telephone at 01392 204 817. We respond within a few working days and agree with you how the matter is to be put right, by reworking the service or by refunding part of the fee.
